ALICE - Alert/Lockdown/Inform/Counter/Evacuate
Plymouth-Canton Community Schools uses the ALICE active shooter response training model as a basis for providing training to all P-CCS staff members with annual refresher training. Additional information on ALICE training can be found using the following link.

School Safety Drills
Plymouth-Canton Community Schools conducts annual school safety drills in accordance with Michigan Public Act 207 of 1941.
School Safety Drills as of October 25, 2024

Minimum |
At least 3 fire drills before December 1. At least 2 fire drills on or after December 1 |

Minimum of 3 total lock down drills |
At least 1 lock down drill before December 1. At least 2 lock down drills after January 1 |

At least 1 must be scheduled in March |
|
At least one of the above drills needs to occur during non-instructional time (passing time, lunch, recess). |

Minimum of 2 total severe weather drills
