Student access to any-time and any-place learning options has expanded under a new law in Michigan. Section 21f of Public Act 60 of 2013 allows students in grades 6 through 12 to take up to two courses online per academic term (with parental consent).

The P-CCS Board of Education has recently adopted policy (2370.01) related to online/blended learning. Below are resources that can help you lean more about the P-CCS Online Learning Program:

SURVEYS

There are a variety of online surveys available to help gauge one's readiness to successfully take and complete an online course.  The ones below are from colleges that offer nationally known online courses.

P-CCS students are encouraged to review one or more of the linked surveys below as well as consider their comfort level with Google Drive (given its use within most courses) to better understand their own readiness and the organizational and personal skills they might wish to further refine in that pursuit. Students are also welcomed to discuss with district teachers and/or counselors their study habits and skills sets to see if an online course aligns with their readiness level.
