- Click here to be taken to the eNotifications page on the official P-CCS website, where you can sign up for automatic news updates to be emailed directly to you as soon as they are published.
- FIRST-TIME USERS: The process is quick and easy, just enter your name and email address and select the schools and programs for which you wish to receive e-notifications.
- RETURNING USERS: There is also a link where you can change your current preferences for eNotifications in case your student is changing school buildings and/or programs for the 2024-25 school year.

BACK TO SCHOOL CHECK-IN OPENS AUGUST 14TH
- Required for ALL families
- The Back to School Check-in process, which is a requirement for returning Kindergarten through 12th-grade P-CCS families to easily update medical, demographic, and contact information in MISTAR Parent Connection (formerly Parent Portal), will open on August 14. Your student’s 2024-25 school year emergency card will be created using this updated information.
- Once logged into MISTAR Parent Connection, you will look for the ‘Back to School Check-in’ link in the top right of the home screen and follow the prompts. This registration will be available starting on Wednesday, August 14, and will run until Monday, September 30. This process must be completed for all students.
OPEN HOUSE @ BIRD
Bird's Open House will take place on Wednesday, August 28, from 5:30-7pm.
CLASS ASSIGNMENTS

Class assignments will be accessible through the MiStar Parent Connection as of Monday, August 26th at 4:00 p.m. Please be sure to log in to find out who your child or children's teacher will be for the 2024-2025 school year. If you need assistance accessing the Parent Connection please contact parent.connection@pccsk12.com.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOLThe first day of school is Tuesday, September 3, 2024. This is a half-day of school. School will begin at 8:55 a.m. and students will be dismissed at 12:10 p.m. The dismissal time for a full day of school is 4:01 pm. If your child is going to be absent, please call (734) 416-3100 and use extension 2. Please do this by 9am.

MEDICATIONS

Students who require medication during the school day should have that medication and documentation submitted to the school office prior to the start of each new school year. More information is available regarding Medication Use on our district website. Written authorization from a physician must accompany ANY medication, this includes over the counter medication. Please call the school office if you have questions regarding the handling of medications.
