General Information
Summer Office Hours
The office will be closed starting June 27th. The office will re-open beginning August 15th. If you cannot find the information you need for the start of the school year on this page, please email the principal Aimee Bell at aimee.bell@pccsk12.com .
Summer "Meetups"
Join us for a fun social evening at the Gallimore playground! This is a great time for you to meet or reconnect with classmates and parents from the Gallimore Community!
- 3rd Grade - Tuesday, July 9th at 6:30 p.m.
- 4th Grade - Wednesday, July 24th at 6:30 p.m.
- 5th Grade - Thursday, August 1st at 6:30 p.m.

- 3rd Grade - Monday, August 5th at 6:30 p.m.

Elementary School Bell Times
- Full Day of School: 8:55 a.m. to 4:01 p.m.
- Half Day of School: 8:55 a.m. to 12:10 p.m.
Breakdown of Morning Arrival
- 8:40 a.m. Students can arrive on school grounds
- 8:50 a.m. First bell rings and students can enter the building
- 8:55 a.m. Second bell rings and students should be ready for the day
- Please note that students arriving after 8:55 a.m. will be marked tardy
- A student arriving at this time should be accompanied to the office door and signed in by the adult
Update MiStar Parent Portal
Please help us by keeping your contact information updated. Please login to your MiStar ParentPortal account to verify and update personal information so it appears correctly on emergency cards, student report cards and other documents used to record student progress. By updating your information in MiStar, you will also be able to receive important information from the district's Emergency Calling System and email blasts from the principal. Bus Information

Durham will provide the most complete and up-to-date information on Friday, August 23rd. Below are the various channels in which route information can be found:

MISTAR: This will be the same as always and will have the most up to date information per Wayne RESA routing software.

E-mail: Durham will be sending out emails this year as well as the main method of communicating route information. Postcards will not be sent anymore.

Class Placement
Student Class Placement will be available through MiStar Parent Portal.
Date: Monday, August 26th.
Class Rosters posted on front doors: Due to a recent review of FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) we will no longer be able to post class rosters on the front doors.
First Day of School
The first day of school is Tuesday, September 3, 2024. It is a half day with dismissal at 12:10 p.m. The district calendar can be found at this link:

Medication
Students who require medication during the school day should have that medication and documentation submitted to the school office prior to the start of each new school year. More information is available regarding Medication Use on our district website. Written authorization from a physician must accompany ANY medication, this includes over the counter medication.
