ISBISTER BACK TO SCHOOL

Our Isbister Office will be closed during the summer July-August 15th.
P-CCS Summer Communication
Read the P-CCS Summer Communication for district back to school information. Summer Communication includes school year calendar, bus transportation, student lunch payment options, health forms, and more.
See our Suggested School Supplies by Grade Level. These supply lists have been created by each grade level team.
Dates shared below are ANTICIPATED. Confirmed Dates will be shared in our August Welcome Back Newsletter emailed the first Friday in August.
REGISTRATION
To schedule an appointment to register your child call Mary Stran at 734-416-6053 or email mary.stran@pccsk12.com. Registration requirements and forms are available here. Complete the pre-enrollment process prior to registration.
COMPLETE BACK TO SCHOOL CHECK-IN
Check-in opens on August 12th. It is helpful if this is completed prior to the first day of school as this takes place of completing an emergency card. Log in to Parent Connection where you will see a ‘Back to School Check-in’ link on top of the home screen. New families will receive an email with their pin and password mid-August from the district.
CLASS PLACEMENTS
K MEET & GREET
Is your child riding the bus this year? Families will receive an email from transportation with bus routes by Friday, August 23rd. If you do not receive this email, check Parent Connection or call the Transportation Department at 734-416-3934.
- To plan for student ridership, the district will ask families to register their child(ren) who are eligible for district transportation through Parent Connection. Elementary students who live more than 1 mile from their home school are eligible for district transportation. Families will select 'yes' or 'no' if they will utilize school bus transportation. If no selection is made, the selection will automatically default to NO and your student(s) will not receive a bus route. If a parent/guardian selects "No" and changes their mind later, they can go back into the portal and select "Yes" and we will reinstate transportation for the student(s). Please allow up to 48 hours for this information to be processed for your bus stop location.

Sign up for the Durham Bus Tracker to view route information with a scheduled arrival time for each stop.
- If your child is riding the bus, we ask that they ride the bus starting the first day of school. We spend our first few days reviewing important bus procedures and safety information.
A more detailed communication regarding Open House will be emailed prior to the event.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
School Hours: 8:55 AM-4:01 PM, Half Day 8:55 AM-12:10 PM
First day procedures including Arrival and Dismissal will be emailed prior to the first day of school and available at Open House.
