Tonda PTO is excited to announce the 2024 Fun Run FUNdraiser! Our goal is to raise $12,000 . Here’s all you need to know about the fundraiser and event.

 

What is a Fun Run Fundraiser?

Students collect pledges in advance of the Fun Run event using the GetMovin’ platform. On Friday, October 18th, students will run or walk the Fun Run course. They will navigate obstacles and fun run stations. The goal of the fun run is to bring together our Tonda community (parents are invited to volunteer and/or watch!) and have FUN.

Basic Information:

 

  • This is our school’s MAIN FUNDRAISER. It was decided years ago not to have students engage in fundraising like candy or magazine sales so, as a result, you will not be asked to participate in sales events like that.
  • Pledging All pledges will be simple flat pledges on the GetMovin’ platform or in person via cash or check.
  • Families are encouraged to pledge at least $50 per student.

 

What does PTO do with the funds raised?

PTO relies 100% on donations and uses these funds to directly support students and staff: Annually, PTO provides Educational Grants to every teacher (including specials) to offset classroom costs along with classroom subscriptions. In addition, PTO funds student activities such as Trekkers, Tonda Baseball, Student Government, Popcorn Fridays, Field Day and more.
