2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

School Hours:

• Students can start arriving at 8:40 AM
• 8:40 Doors Open.  Students may go to the cafeteria to grab (free) breakfast & then line up with their class outside.
• 8:50 Students will be brought into school by staff.
• 8:55 AM -- School Start Time. (STUDENTS ARE MARKED TARDY AFTER 8:55 am)
• 4:01 PM Dismissal
• 12:10 PM: Half-Day Dismissal

All students are to arrive for morning classes between 8:50 AM - 8:55 AM. The limited number of entrances for the school mean that each class will have a designated place to line up each morning before school.  This is indicated by their class number painted on the blacktop or sidewalk near the door they are to enter in the morning.

When a student is arriving late or after 8:55 AM, a legal guardian must sign the student in at the kiosk located in the front lobby with their driver's license.  Office staff will admit the student into school and direct them to their class.

Nutrition Services:

The Free Michigan School Meals program will continue for the 2024-25 school year. Students can receive ONE healthy nutritious Breakfast and ONE Lunch Daily at no charge. Additional portions and other items can be purchased at the a la carte prices.

We are asking that Families still complete the Free and Reduced Lunch
Application. Parents must apply online for free and reduced nutrition benefits. Please click on this link to access the application. The application supports other funding in areas of education as well, such as discounts for pay-to-play, access to computer WIFI, college application fees, and standardized testing fees.

Snacks - Students may bring a snack to school each day. Snack choices are limited to the following items: fruits, vegetables, crackers, or pretzels. Individual classrooms may have additional food restrictions to address specific health issues. Please send a water bottle to school with your student to keep in their classroom.
