The Business Academy is a program designed to educate and prepare students with a passion for business. P-CEP Business Academy students will be placed on an innovative four-year academic pathway that will address college and career readiness skills while also meeting all high school prerequisites for acceptance into competitive post-secondary institutions.  The rigorous courses will enable students to develop and apply key skills for success in the business world, i.e. critical thinking/problem solving, research, reading/writing, speaking/presenting, teamwork.  Seniors will engage in a service learning practicum that will enhance their experience in the Academy.  

Students who complete all four Business Academy classes at P-CEP with a minimum grade of “B” will receive 12 college credits with Schoolcraft College.  Upon completion of an Associate of Business Administration (ABA) Degree through Schoolcraft, students have the opportunity to transfer to Wayne State University to earn a bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field.  This opportunity is offered through a contract with PCCS, Schoolcraft College, and Wayne State University.
