We are here to help you to help yourself to a better future!

The GED examination is accepted by most colleges and industries, as well as civil service, as an alternative to a high school diploma. It is not a high school diploma; it is a certificate of equivalency.

All GED testing is run through certified Pearson-Vue testing centers.

For registration and locations follow this link to https://ged.com.

Those who attend our GED prep courses can receive vouchers covering the testing fees and use of materials to prepare.  Exam voucher pre-requisite:  Students must also be retested with the TABE (Tests of Adult Basic Education) before registering for class and show an improvement on a post test of the TABE before taking the GED test.

The GED Certificate offers many opportunities to adults such as:

  • Job Advancement
  • College Admission
  • Personal Satisfaction

Prepare for the four components of the GED exam in one of our GED Preparatory programs:

  • Language Arts
  • Social Studies
  • Science
  • Mathematics

Exam prerequisite: Students must be able to read and write at the ninth grade level. Students must also be pretested with the TABE (Tests of Adult Basic Education) before registering for class and show an improvement on a post test of the TABE before taking the GED tests.

Pre-GED Classes

  • Students who score below the 7th grade reading level will be placed in a Pre-GED class until they are post tested with the TABE and achieve a 9th grade reading level.  At that time they will be placed in the regular GED Prep program.
  • Pre-GED classes run concurrently with GED Prep classes (Monday and Thursday 9 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday evening 5:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.) in a separate classroom and with a different teacher.

Complete your GED and then go on to college, get a better job, the respect you deserve, and the accomplishment of  earning your high school credential.
