School Bus Schedules
Students eligible for bus transportation will receive bus stop information at the beginning of September from the Transportation Department. This information will be viewable through the MiStar Parent Portal. Please note, the Discovery main office does not handle Transportation assignments, please do not call the main office seeking this information. Please refer to the P-CCS Transportation website for more information.
Class Schedules
Student schedules are available as of Friday, September 2, 2022 through your MiStar Parent Portal. Schedules will be handed out in homeroom class on the first day of school. When students arrive in the building on the first day of school homeroom class lists will be located:
- Outside the Auditeria for 6th graders
- Outside the gymnasium for 7th graders
- Outside the 8th grade wing for 8th graders
6th and 7th grade students will locate their name on the homeroom rosters, enter the auditeria/gymnasium, locate the sign containing their homeroom teachers name, and sit in the assigned area for their homeroom teacher. Teachers will come and walk their students to their homeroom classes where they will receive their class schedules. Staff will be on hand to help students find their homeroom assignments.
8th grade students will located their name of the homeroom rosters and wait for the bell to move directly to their homeroom class.
If your student cannot locate their name of the homeroom rosters, please go to the main office.
Immunizations and Medication Use
Please visit our Health & Safety Page for information regarding new immunization guidelines for the 2021-2022 school year. Students must be up to date with their immunizations to start school on the first day.

Breakfast and Lunch Information/Summer EBT and Education Benefits with Michigan School Meals Program
(Formally Free and Reduced Lunch Application)
One breakfast and one lunch will be free for every student this year. The Nutrition Department has gone digital for menus! For grades K-8. The menu is available on the Nutrition Site.
Summer EBT and Education Benefits with Michigan School Meals Program Applications are available here. A new application must be submitted every school year.
Families are highly encouraged to complete the Summer EBT and Education Benefits with Michigan School Meals Program application. Families that qualify for free and reduced meals are eligible for additional benefits including discounts for pay to play, access for computer WIFI, college application fees and standardized testing fees.

Student Images And Media Posting Opt-Out Form
Plymouth-Canton Community Schools has an opt-out policy for students and families who wish to not have their images used in school- and district-wide media, including the district website, district and school social media outlets, as well as external media outlets such as newspapers and online publications.
