East Middle School Back to School News and Information

Please complete the Back to School Check in for your student through MiStar Parent Portal beginning August 14. All parents should complete this, including newly enrolled families.

Go to the MiStar Parent Portal login page. Use your PIN & password to access the site. If you have forgotten your PIN or Password, click on the “Reset your Password” button and follow the instructions.
Once logged in, click on the “Back to School Registration” link (which is written in red) on the upper- right corner of the page. It will take you to a new page which will list all your students.
Click on the “Register Now” button to begin the process for your East student(s).

SCHEDULE PICKUP DAY
Wednesday, August 21, 2024
7th/8th graders - 8:30 am - 10:00 am
6th graders - 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ON THIS DAY:
- Up-to-date immunization records (7th grade)
- Sports Physical (if you are interested in participating in East sports)
- 8th grade Washington DC forms/donations
- 6th grade camp forms
- Any medication that your student may need during the school day. Medication
must be accompanied by a Medication Authorization form or an
Authorization for Self-Medication form. These forms must be signed by a physician and
the parent.

9am - noon

10:00 AM-Noon
- Please bring your updated immunization records (7th grade)
- Completed sports physical (if applicable).

Tuesday, September 3, 2024, Half Day: 8:15 am - 11:30 am

Pictures will be taken during the school day

This year you can Pre-Order/Pre-Pay for your picture packages online or print out a picture order form.

On the Entry Screen that prompts you for your Teacher's Name and/or Homeroom name, please enter “East”.
Ordering online will assist greatly on Picture Day.

LUNCH INFORMATION

IMMUNIZATIONS AND MEDICATION

Please visit our Health & Safety Page for information regarding our immunization guidelines for the 2023-2024 school year. Students must be up to date with their immunizations to start school on the first day.
